Pastor Landsberger was saved on September 12, 1964. He worked at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Ohio for several years before attending Baptist Theological Bible College.
He moved to Florida with his family in July 1972 to help start Trinity Baptist Church. He served there for eight and one half years during which he was ordained (October 1978).
By the grace of God, he, with his wife Susan, two sons and a daughter, started Colonial Baptist Church (February 1981). He started Colonial Baptist Bible Institute eight years later. Two of his students are now pastoring and two more are in training.
Pastor Landsberger has helped start five other churches - Palmetto, St. Petersburg, Ellenton, Tarpon Springs Florida and one in Jasper, Missouri. He recently received a certificate from Baptist Bible Fellowship International in recognition of Church Planting.
